Shannon McCarthy
Lets welcome Shannon to our new instructors! Shannon has been dancing since the age of 3 and is an original member of Releve Dance Company. Shannon has her Bachelors degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering with a minor in Dance from Purdue University. She has won Nationals titles and has performed in 22 contemporary works. We are so excited to see her move up from student to teacher!
Michelle Wachowicz Baker
Please welcome a new face to the Releve team, Michelle! She began dancing at the age of 5 in many styles of dance. She received her Bachelors in Fine Arts in Dance from Wright State University. Her extensive resume includes dancing for the Disney Wonder Cruise ship, teaching at Dayton Ballet School, and adjunct Dance professor at Clark State University. We are honored and excited to have her share her artistry, creativity, and love of dance.
Lindsay Hawker
Please give a warm welcome to Lindsay! She began dancing at the age of 3. She has danced competitively and served as her College Dance Team Captain. She enjoys working with young dancers and helping them cultivate a foundation in Dance. One of her strengths is creating a Mindful, Safe, Supportive, and Inclusive environment within the Dance Studio.
Alyssa Gibbons
Please give a warm welcome to Alyssa. She has extensive training in many genres of Dance and Gymnastics. She completed her Grade 8 and Intermediate examinations with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), is a member of the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD), and graduated from the Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) Program in the Arts. She has also performed in many professional performances with world renowned artists and performers. She was a member of the Toronto Argonauts Cheerleading team and various studios. She wants to teach and inspire the next generation of dancers.
Andrea Haskell
Please welcome Andrea in her second year teaching at Releve! Andrea discovered her love for dance at the age of 6. She spent most of her life competing and choreographing throughout school and college including choreographing her schools musicals. She enjoys working with children and cultivating confidence, creativity, and a love for dance. Welcome back Andrea!
