Lindsay began her dance training at the age of 4 in Franklin, TN. She soon became a competitive dancer and gymnast spending most of her after-school hours rehearsing and training.
Lindsay knew from a very young age where her heart and focus were, and what she wanted to do with her passion. She went on to study as a dance major and theatre minor at Winthrop University in SC. She soon began auditioning after her move back to Franklin, TN, where she studied in dance and commercial entertainment. During this time she discovered a love for teaching. Concurrent to training and teaching, Lindsay had the opportunity to perform professionally with The Montreaux Players, an international dance troupe, and ultimately held a lead role in the international touring production, “Of two Minds”.
After returning to the states she began teaching at various studios along the east coast. She was the dance teacher, not just for recreational and competitive studios and students, but also for the Girls Home in Rock Hill, SC. Here she choreographed and directed numerous shows for the community while mentoring her students; a once in a lifetime rewarding experience to help others discover their love of movement, and themselves, through dance while providing a much needed cultural experience for the community.
Lindsay has been teaching and continuing her dance education for over 22 years and is also a member of Dance Masters of America and Acrobatic Arts. Her students have won numerous awards under her direction, choreography and training.
Lindsay is thrilled to be opening Releve’ Dance Company, Inc. She, along with her husband Mike and daughter Brooklyn, as well as the dedicated staff, welcome you to RDC and cannot wait to share the stage with you!
